Just horsing around..

Decided to try my hand at painting horses …which is a classic especially for Chinese ink painting.

Horses are especially auspicious amongst the Chinese with many proverbs and idioms tied to them.  Just googling 马的成语 reveals a whole long list of idioms.

Did I regret not learning my Chinese idioms well during my school days? Not quite. As google does a good job in surfacing my lack of knowledge with these wonderful pages.

Enjoy my paintings on horses:)
