Gallery@OURF was “born” after Pin Lay’s first solo exhibition “Pattern Liao Liao” in May 2013.
A friend’s gift of hooks and lines help spark her interest to convert her apartment into a gallery.
Thereafter, one thing followed another. In 2014, her sis-in-law, J, who does lighting, decided to gift her with a set of studio lights for the whole apartment.
In 2015, Gallery@OURF was the proud organiser and host to fellow artists, including the visually impaired from Dialogue in the Dark as well as paralymptic table tennis athlete, Eugene.
Pin Lay hopes that through her Chinese ink classes, she can expand this pool of artists who love Chinese ink and want to do a little good with their skills to make a better world!
She dreams of the day when the gallery features other artists besides herself 🙂
